  42.    Kindergarden'97 will be arranged at Hellerud Videregående Skole (College) in
  43.    Oslo, Norway. This is the same party location as Kindergarden 6 was held.
  44.  
  45.    The layout of the party is completly different, though. Last time we used two
  46.    halls for the people, and used a part of a huge sports-hall as a theatre.
  47.    This year we will instead use one of the halls for movies/showing compos,
  48.    and will have a huge cafeteria w/leisure activities and entertainment on the
  49.    stage. The main party will be held in the huge sports-hall, which gives us
  50.    LOTS of space.
  51.  
  52.    The doors open at 14.00 on Thursday the 3rd of July.

  54.    The doors close at 14.00 on Sunday the 6th of July.

  57. 2. Entrance fee

  59.    The entrance fee will be 200 NOK, that's roughly about 30$. Girls get free
  60.    entrance, like they get on most parties. [Bastards!]

  62.    We will accept prepaid entrance fee's, but since the prices are kept as low
  63.    as possible, it will still cost 200 NOK! Read the "The Kindergarden Staff"
  64.    section for adresses.

  66.    The price has, as you might have noticed, risen with 50 NOK. This is because
  67.    the price for the hall is doubled [!] this time, because we used A LOT of
  68.    power last time. Also, the party lasts for one more day.

  71. 3. Features

  73.    The Main Hall:

  75.     · There is space for about 600 people in the main hall. There are ofcourse
  76.       enough tables and chairs.

  78.     · The hall has a lot of power, over 1000 Ampere. If the need should arise,
  79.       we can drain power from the various classrooms on the school, every one
  80.       of them feature about 100 ampere.
  81.  
  82.     · Showers for everyone! We will set up a separate shower for female guests.
  83.  
  84.     · Clean toilets! We will actually clean the toilets now and then, and take
  85.       away all the paper from the wastebaskets... And put in new!
  86.  
  87.     · Sleeping is allowed everywhere in the complex (except, ofcourse, the
  88.       locations that are sealed/locked and off limits)
  89.  
  90.     · We will set up a information-channel running on a few screens inside the
  91.       hall w/important messages/what films are currently running etc.
  92.  
  93.     · No fucking stealing of equipment! We've not had problems with this before
  94.       and we don't want it now.
  95.  
  96.     · Organizers that are not too shy to give messages/host compos etc. ;)
  97.  
  98.    Happenings, Entertainment and Leisure Activities:

  100.     · A theatre located next to the cafeteria will be showing all the latest
  101.       movies nonstop on laserdisk.
  102.  
  103.     · The city-life in Oslo is great, and the subway is located 50 metres from
  104.       the hall.
  105.  
  106.     · We will set up a few coin-op's in the cafeteria to have fun with.
  107.  
  108.     · Hopefull the scene in the cafeteria will feature liveacts from cool
  109.       artists like Superted & Yebo etc.
  110.  
  111.     · Various suprise events. (No lame remote-controlled choppers flying around
  112.       with lame advertisements though... Thank god!)
  113.  
  114.     · We might set up a few machines running IRC so that the addicts can spend
  115.       some time on the net.
  116.  
  117.     · We will set up a Kinderegg stand in the cafeteria where you can place all
  118.       your Kinderegg figures!
  119.  
  120.    Food and Beverages:

  122.     · A 24 hours open cafeteria with food (Even the first day) and beverages
  123.       with low prices. Ofcourse with Kindereggs!
  124.  
  125.     · A small kiosk at the entrance of the main-hall will sell hot-dogs and
  126.       beverages. (Limited selection)

  128.     · A mall is located 20 metres from the entrance of the hall.

  130.     · Peppes Pizza is located quite close to the hall.

  132.     · McDonalds is located quite close to the hall too. (10-15 minutes to walk)

  138. 4. How to get there

  140.    Since Kindergarden is arranged in Oslo, the capitol of Norway, transport
  141.    should be no problem. If you need to ask for directions, the area around
  142.    the hall is called "Tveita".

  148.     · Take the plane to Fornebu Airport in Norway.

  150.     · Follow the instructions for train/subway.

  154.     · Travel to Oslo S. (Oslo Sentralbanestasjon, the 'connection point' of
  155.       trains in Norway. Mother of all stations. You should find it. :))

  160.       mall and you will find it.

  296.    The rules are simple. We do not want to control your life. Just be nice.

  298.     · We do not allow anyone selling food, disks and the likes without WRITTEN
  299.       permission from the organizers.

  301.     · Illegal drugs and alcohol are ofcourse not allowed inside the party area.
  302.  
  303.     · TOO intoxicated persons will be thrown out or put in the showers. We will
  304.       not throw you out for good, like some other lame parties do. (TP/TG sux!)

  306.     · Puking inside the hall will be fined with 100 NOK. Please use a toilet if
  307.       you suddenly have an urge.
  308.  
  309.     · Any damage to personal and public property must be paid for.
  310.  
  311.     · We can and will not take the responsibility for any kinds of theft or
  312.       injuries. Not even injuries by our big guards. You have no witnesses.
  313.  
  314.     · Smoking is not allowed in the sleeping hall, the theatre or in the main
  315.       halls. Please smoke in seperate areas put specially aside for this. We
  316.       have not decided if smoking is allowed in the cafeteria. Since it is a
  317.       public building, it's actually forbidden by norwegian law. (Maybe if we
  318.       open the windows?)
  319.  
  320.     · No bannerpainting/tagging/etc inside the partyarea. We WILL catch the
  321.       ones who do this, and we WILL beat them up and throw them in the trash.
  322.       (After taking all their money and calling their parents.)
  323.  
  324.     · Norwegian laws act as normal ofcourse.
  325.  
  326.     · Be polite and smile when the organizers try to fix your problems.
  327.  
  328.     · No drunken skateboarding/rollerblading inside the partyarea. Be careful.

  330.     · Don't bitch the organizers all the time if you can fix something yourself
  331.       without us noticing. (But stay away from the power!)
